Every Rukka motorcycling garment is a result of profound know-how, rigid

All Rukka motorcycling garments carry the patented RVP Air protectors. The
only patented breathable shoulder, elbow, knee, shin and hip protectors in the
market meet the CE norm EN 1621-1 and function equally in all weather
conditions. The elastic mesh-structured protector divides the possible
impact into a wide area and acts as a shock absorber.
With the reflective materials, Rukka introduces another feature for enhanced
safety. Under normal daylight conditions, this Rukka material appears
“normal”, but if directly lit by vehicle headlights in the dark, it reflects
the light glaring white.

This couple has everything motorcyclists demand from textile motorcycle
clothing. Both the Steel men’s jacket and the Sapphire women’s jacket are
made of non-abrasive Cordura 500 and have soft neoprene on the collar for a
pleasant fit. Both also share a slightly longer cut in the rear to prevent
draught – even with a sporty riding style and even if the jacket is not
connected to a pair of Rukka trousers with the connective zip. The Gore-Tex
Z-liner ensures lasting breathability, wind and waterproofness as well as a high
wearing comfort, while the removable 60g thermal lining insulates against cold.
The men’s and women’s jackets both have four pockets, two on the outside as
well as two waterproof inside pockets, to stow away smaller items. Shoulders,
elbows and forearms are protected by soft, air permeable CE-certified
protectors.
Both jackets have a continuously adjustable waist belt and a two-stage
adjustment on each sleeve for perfect fit.
No matter if she prefers to ride pillion or grab the handlebars herself, the
Sapphire jacket will convince any female motorcyclist with a fit perfectly tuned
to the female anatomy.
Like all Rukka jackets, Sapphire is machine-washable on its own in the delicates
washing programme at 30 to 40 degrees, using regular detergent without fabric
softener. Prior to laundering any Rukka product, the protectors should be
removed.

Made of Cordura 500, the same shell material as the Cordura Technology
collection’s jackets’, Rukka’s brand new Unit trousers are the perfect
complement for the men’s Steel, Jere-Z, Neon and Flash jackets. The same goes
for the women’s trousers Unit Lady, to match the Sapphire or Lumina jackets.
Both models of course also allow combination with any other Rukka jacket via
their long connective zips to sit perfectly without any draughts or flapping. A
waist adjuster on each side and removable braces contribute to their perfect
fit.
Air permeable, soft and comfortable RVP airProtectors as well as additional
layers of Cordura 500 in the ‘crash’ zones take care of safety. Both models
have Gore-Tex Z-liners to guarantee lasting breathability as well as wind and
waterproofness, while their removable 60g thermal linings provide additional
insulation if required. Both models have two big outside pockets with zippers.
Zips on the calves let them be put on easily and allow a tight fit above the
motorcycle boots. Additional Velcro straps on the ends of the legs let the
wearer adjust the width on the ankles individually. The Unit men’s trousers
are available in the regular sizes 46 through 62. Tall riders may choose from
the long sizes 48 through 58 with legs seven centimetre longer than standard,
and for stocky wearers there are the short sizes 48 through 66 of which the legs
are seven centimetres short of the standard.
The Lady Unit model is not just perfectly tuned to the female body but also to
women’s special requirements. Be it on the bike, on a downtown stroll or in
the street cafe – high wearing comfort and a perfect fit make wearing these
trousers a joy. It goes without saying that wearers will always cut a good
figure in Rukka trousers. The female version is available in the regular

Armacor, a Kevlar-polyamide fabric, is the shell fabric with the highest tear
and abrasion resistance to date in motorcycling apparel. With the suits
Armadillo for men and Armarina for ladies, Rukka enables a wider range of buyers
to benefit from this sophisticated material. Both suits feature the fabric as
reinforcement on the “crash” zones - elbows, forearms and shoulders. The
shell is made of waterproof and highly breathable Gore-Tex XCR three-layer
laminate (Cordura 500D). The removable thermal inner jacket and inner trousers
allow for adapting to varying weather conditions. The treatment of the outer
material of the trousers and the black jackets with the novel TFL CoolBlack
reduces the surface temperature in the sun and keeps the rider cool. Two sleeve
adjusters allow adjusting the sleeves' width individually and ensure a perfect
fit of the protectors. The soft neoprene collar border lining provides for a
comfortable and tight fit at the neck, contributing to the great wearing comfort
of the Armadillo and Armarina jackets.
Two outer pockets on the hips, two inner pockets and a cell phone compartment
facilitate carrying along small items. The reflective stripes on the sleeves
ensure optimized visibility in darkness.
